News

I'm. Bad blogger, I know. I haven't posted in some time only because life happened and I got wrapped up into it. Anyway, here are some things that have been going on:
1. We are finally settled into our house.
2. We will be hosting Thanksgiving
3. We are pregnant again. Ok so you ask again? Well I had a miscarrage a couple of months ago and not being one to give up, we are pregnant again. We goto the Dr in December to confirm. Right now I'm probably at 5 1/2weeks. I'm hoping that this time we will have a better out come. So my due date is around the end of July. I'm only having a little nauseau but no vomitting. Hubs says I need to tell my sister. I should but I'm waiting. We will see how things go. I'm still aprehensive since the M/C.


So that's the big news. I will try to blog more.

Updates

Ok so here are a few updates

We finally moved into our new house and its huge and needs some work. I have painted and cleaned the main areas. I redid the kitchen cabinets (paint) and since the builder builds them on sight they're not the normal (standard) size. Because when I was unpacking and putting my expandable silverwar holder into the drawer the drawer was 1/2 an inch short! I couldn't believe it. I was so mad. So my husband had to rework the drawer and remove the expander. Totally upset. It fit in my old kitchen. I hate custom cabinetry and I have throughout my house.

I'm in the process of removing the wallpaper upper boarder in the Master Bath. I hate wall paper with a passion. I have to get it removed before we rip up the carpet and tile. Which brings me to my next rant: Why would someone put carpet in a bathroom? Why? That's gross. So we will be removing the carpet and the tile to replace it all with new tile. I'm debating if I should put tile into the closet and get rid of the nasty carpet. Then I worry about resale value and if I would like tile in my closet. Any suggestions? (I probably won't get a response since I haven't posted in awhile) Oh well.

I have other big new but I don't want to post it yet.

More Updates

So I'm very excited about this whole house thing. The only issue is that we will be spending a lot of money to fix it up to what we like. Watch out Lowes cuz your sales numbers are going to skyrocket. I'm just sad because there's a lot of other things that I want for myself too, not just the house. Oh well I guess I will have to keep waiting.

I'm excited also because my nieces are coming to visit also. We're going to have so much fun. I can hardly wait.

Sorry I haven't updated in awhile, I've been super busy. But I do have a TAT story for next week.

We bought a house

I haven't blogged in awhile b/c I've been very busy with a lot of things. We finally have bought a house and we close at the end of the month. It needs some work but other than that its awesome!

Summer time

Sorry everyone I've been out of commission for awhile. I was out of town for 2 weeks in a row and have been working like mad to get caught up. I didn't want everyone to think I dropped off the planet.

I went back to my home state to see my family and my adorable niece and nephew. We had a great time and I miss them all.

Here goes nothing.

It was my 23rd birthday and Christmas Eve. I had finished up with the family stuff and was headed to the bar. After arguing with my mom about wanting to go to the bar and her saying its Christmas Eve you shouldn't be going to the bar. Thank God for my Dad that told her its her birthday let her go to the bar. My dad rocks!
So I go to the popular bar in town that everyone frequents. Of course I go by myself since a lot of my friends are out of town. Obvious reasons. Since I frequent this bar a lot I know a lot of the staff so it was no big deal showing up by yourself. BTW I drove there too! Great combination.
Any who, I'm drinking and low and behold my best friend shows up with his roommates. I start hanging out with them and drinking and doing shots. It was awesome.
Then I feel that feeling, ya know the one, when you know everything is going to come back up. I lean under the pub table and vomit! Where I remember seeing a piece of shrimp from dinner. Then I excuse myself and go into the bathroom and throw up again. I know I'm sexy! I know the someone saw me do this but I wasn't cut off or kicked out. How awesome is that!
I rinse out my mouth go back out and start drinking some more and pretend nothing happened.
Since my best friend and his roomies took a cab to the bar they drove my car and me back to their place! Where I don't remember much but woke up early the next morning grabbed McDonald's and headed home to spend Christmas in bed.
Granted I can't drink like this anymore. Once I vomit I'm done drinking.

Totally Awkward Tuesday

This happened to me last week. Hubs and I are planning a trip back to the Midwest and I've been emailing and FB all of the "important" people that we are coming. By important I mean the ones that I really want to see and hang out with.
My old boss and I still have contact with each other and we're pretty good friends. We should be we shared an office for 3 years. I told him that we were planning on coming back and he said he was going to pick us up at the airport. (its 3 hrs away) kinda weird but whatev. Anyway Hubs wanted me to email old boss and make sure that he was for sure going to pick us up.
I told Hubs yeah I'll email him plus I have to tell him about the crazy dream I had too. (I'm known for these outrageous and very detailed dreams)
So I email old boss (I'm waiting for the moment I type old balls or something) and I tell him about the dream. Basically it was riding in his truck but I was driving and he was in the back. No big deal.
Old boss emails back. I wish you were in the back with me we'd have fun.
WTF... Weird...I think not. I in no way, ewww, ewww, ewww!
What do you say to that? Thank god it was over email and I could just not respond from it.
